MARTINEZ, CA (April 10, 2008) – Radioactive PC, a manufacturer of custom luxury computer systems, announces the release of its latest computer system, the Plasma X3. The Plasma X3 features the latest Intel Core 2 Extreme Processors, SLi video card technology from NVIDIA and DDR3 memory modules.

Based on the NVIDIA 790i chipset, the Plasma X3 supports the latest Intel Core 2 Extreme Processors. The Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770 default running speed is 3.2GHz, but with Radioactive PCs standard overclocking service it’s capable of a much higher rating with ease. Also with the available 3-way SLi configuration for NVIDIA based graphics cards you’re bound to break some records.

The 790i based Plasma X3 from Radioactive PC can currently support up to eight (8) gigabytes of DDR3 1333DHz High-Performance memory, and a 3-way SLi configuration. Whether you’re playing the latest gaming titles like, “Crysis”, “Rainbow Six Vegas 2” or “Command and Conquer 3” the Plasma X3 will be able to handle them all without a hiccup.

The Plasma X3 processor is cooled with Radioactive PCs custom liquid cooler. Through careful routing of internal wiring Radioactive PC is able to maximize the efficiency of the systems internal fans. Doing so enables the fans to cool the core components of the computer system with less restriction to airflow thus making sure that the system is cooled correctly and keeps it running at peak performance around the clock.

The default system configuration for the Plasma X3 contains two (2) gigabytes of High-Performance DDR3 1333DHz memory, an Intel Core 2 Quad Q9450 2.66GHz 12MB Cache 1333MHZ FSB processor, nForce 790i Motherboard, two (2) 250 gigabyte SATA II 7,200 RPM 16MB cache hard drives in a RAID 0 array, an 850 Watt Power Supply, 20X Dual Layer DVD+-RW Drive with LightScribe technology, High-Definition 7.1 Performance Audio, two (2) NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT video cards in an SLi configuration, Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium (32-Bit), multimedia keyboard, optical mouse and is enclosed in an all Aluminum Tower Chassis. This incredible system configuration is available from Radioactive PC directly at www.radioactivepc.com for $2,464 (US Dollars).

An extremely well equipped Radioactive PC Plasma X3 system would include four (4) gigabytes of High-Performance DDR3 1333DHz memory, two (2) NVIDIA GeForce 9800 GX2 video cards in an SLi configuration, X-Fi Xtreme Audio by Creative Labs, an Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770 3.2GHz 12MB Cache 1600MHZ FSB processor, nForce 790i Motherboard, two (2) 150 gigabyte SATA 10,000 RPM 16MB cache hard drives in a RAID 0 array, 1000 Watt Power Supply, 20X Dual Layer DVD+-RW Drive with LightScribe, multimedia keyboard, optical mouse, Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate(32-Bit), and is enclosed in an all Aluminum Tower Chassis would cost $4,973 (US Dollars).

Every system from Radioactive PC, including the Plasma X3, comes with a standard 3-year limited parts, life-time labor and life-time technical support warranty.
