There are three (3)
models for the Proton. The Proton
I1, which is based on the Intel G33
motherboard, the Proton I2, which
is based on the Asus P5n-E motherboard,
and the Proton A1 which is based on
the Asus M2n-SLi motherboard. The
Proton systems support the latest
Intel Core 2 Extreme and AMD Phenom
processors.
The Proton multimedia
systems can support up to four (4)
gigabytes of DDR2 800MHz Performance
memory, and massive amounts of hard
drive space. Whether you’re
using the Proton for multimedia programs
like, “Photoshop”, “AutoCAD”,
Illustrator “” or playing
the latest gaming titles like, “Crysis”,
“Rainbow Six Vegas 2”
or “Command and Conquer 3”
the Proton systems will be able to
handle them all.
The Proton systems
are cooled with a modified heatsink
and cooling fan. Through careful routing
of internal wiring Radioactive PC
is able to maximize the efficiency
of the systems internal fans. Doing
so enables the fans to cool the core
components of the computer system
with less restriction to airflow thus
making sure that the system is cooled
correctly and keeps it running at
peak performance all the time.
